At a pre-rehearsal site check with the two gents, I played their requested ceremony music to time their pacing down the aisle. At their recessional song, I was shot looks of confusion. I cued the wrong song… or did I? It turns out they weren’t aware that their recessional song is actually a remix. The lesson: Always cross-check key tunes to differentiate and confirm original, remix, cover, radio / dirty, acoustic, live version, etc. with your clients’ wants!
In their words
”We wanted our wedding to be a party with our closest friends and family so knew that music would be one of the most important parts of the night. Brent was above and beyond any expectations. He was able to read the energy of the room and played to what people were loving. We still have friends remind us of how good the music was at our wedding. It would not have been the same without you, Brent. Thank you!”
